Artist Talk @ North Bennet St. School, Boston - Jan. 22nd, 2010 6-7 pm
I come to jewelry from an artist background and will present images of pieces we have made from the early days to the present. I’ll talk about what it was like being one of few women in the jewelry industry at that time to today and how I approach jewelry as a wearable art from that truly is wearable and yet distinctive (...this will not be a snooze).

Design Workshop At North Bennet St. School, Boston - Sat-Sun., Jan. 23 & 24, 2010
We can know all the techniques out there but if we have nothing to create with them it doesn’t matter. Like memorizing all the words in the dictionary will not make a person a better writer unless you have something to say. In this workshop we will go back to where we can have fun and create for the pure joy of creation and see what we can come up with. We will come up with things to say.

"Colored pencils redefined" - Jan. 1-Mar.3rd.
Stop by our studio to see the most amazing work of artist Joshua Dallaire. His 30" x 20" colored pencil drawings have taken months (up to 497 hours) to create and are astounding.

Patricia conducts consultations and redesigns for existing stones or new stones. At a consultation, Patricia will help you determine what metal colors work best for you and what jewelry shapes are most flattering. The author of many articles on jewelry and how it should accent the wearer, Patricia’s consultations are fun and informative. If you should decide to hold a redesign event, Patricia comes with her computer to design right there at the store. She can image a client's stone(s) into a jewelry piece and make it look real. A great time.
